Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures: Opens: - None ARs: - Mike send IBISCHK document to Bob for editing - Done - Mike add IBISCHK6 messages to 5.1.3 message list - Done IBISCHK document: - Bob showed the latest ibischk_spec_6.0_draft4.docx - Bob: I'm not sure how to handle the Source Code section. - Mike: It would be good to have that to promote source code purchases. - Bob: The tables should be actual sections, not an appendix. - They would want to be in section 3 though. - Source Code should be moved to the introduction - Mike: True, the details of that should be delivered only with the source code. - Bob showed a paragraph he had inserted for that. - Bob: The paragraph about version numbering needs a few more details. - Mike: We should give the IBIS spec URL too. - Bob discussed additions to Source Code section 4. - Mike: We can drop 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3, and move the description up to the introduction. - Mike: The subsections of section 3 should not be in the TOC. - Bob: I added examples and explanation of Cautions. - About messages, not sure whether to use "printed" or "displayed". - Mike: Maybe "produced" or "generated". - Bob: We are jumping ahead, showing message examples before the message section. - Mike: That is common for examples. - Bob: We are out of sequence in other ways too. - Also we don't to give the counts of each message type. - Also we have to be consistent about labels like "Code" in the Message Codes section. - They should match the table column headings. - Mike: Section 5 might be titled Message Listing - Bob changed it to Message Listing by Code - Bob: We could also publish a spreadsheet listing for people to use - Mike: In section 2 we should give examples of with and without -numbered. - Bob: In section 3 we could show an example of each category.
